Why Did I Choose to Stake my Shiba Inu on Worldchain?
Original Title: World = Humanity's Biggest Asymmetric Bet (or: Why I'm aping pump.fun-style poopcoins on Worldchain)

Editor's Note: Identity verification through eye scan technology to provide universal basic income (UBI) to global users. Users can earn WLD tokens through the app, participate in mini-apps like Poop, Uno, etc., for transactions and investments. Although this ecosystem faces a complex market model and risks, if successful, it could become a new giant in the crypto industry. The meme coin ecosystem is rapidly growing, with users earning tokens by downloading mini-apps and having the opportunity to invest. Despite WLD's complex economic model, if successful, Worldcoin has the potential to become a significant platform, reshaping the crypto industry landscape.
The following is the original content (slightly reorganized for ease of reading comprehension):
That eyeball-scanning ball made me uncomfortable. It made me feel uneasy, but that doesn't matter, dear. Deep down inside me — that rational, crocodile-eye-like part — sees Worldchain and its expanding applications and memes, deeming it the biggest asymmetric bet in investment (and you don't need an eyeball scan to participate).

This is my "silly" bullish argument (and why I am buying WLD and pump.fun-style memes like "IRON SAM" to join this ecosystem
According to Sam Altman's recent blog post, OpenAI has unlocked "artificial general intelligence" (AGI). By 2025, AI will seriously enter the workplace as an intelligent agent.
Employers can hire troublesome, complex humans (costing thousands of dollars per month), or pay a fee to deploy an agent — an agent without emotional issues and health insurance. Obviously, which option will employers choose?
Global knowledge worker recruitment is stagnating, and a survival crisis looms (whether psychological or financial). Knowledge work disappears, and the economy fractures. The crow caws. The once highly paid, ambitious elite shift from a society's positive front to a burden.
Meanwhile, OpenAI continues to advance toward "superintelligence" (intelligence that surpasses the collective intelligence of all humans on Earth). Each release brings more economic devastation... even as technological breakthroughs accelerate.
The economy lies in ruins and ashes. A harsh reckoning. Governments around the world are forced to provide monthly allowances to their bankrupt citizens (i.e., Universal Basic Income [UBI]). Unfortunately, most governments are heavily indebted. Stimulus measures can only be sustained through money printing. Hyperinflation is imminent.
Faced with runaway hyperinflation, humanity needs a shield... Enter Worldcoin (WLD) — a token on the blockchain co-founded by Sam Altman six years ago! What's its unique selling point? Free money, folks!!! Money that won't suffer from hyperinflation. You just need to stare at this powerful eyeball scanning orb to prove your account is human-generated, and then we'll transfer value to you every month.
People around the globe log in to the World app each month to claim their allowance ("Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up — it's the first of the month today"). Then, they ponder the meaning of life in a post-work era.
Random Musings on the Above Idea (and the Future of World)
That future is clearly speculative, perhaps this outcome is unlikely, but some elements of it seem inevitable.
The cryptocurrency Twitter community criticizes Worldcoin as a "low-circulating, high-market-cap speculative investment" coin, while overlooking the fact that UBI has to come from somewhere. ("Extra circulation will provide you cricket protein in the 2028 dusty dust storm, my child!")
According to public comments, Altman seems very involved in the Worldcoin ecosystem. This leads me to believe that Worldchain will be the first blockchain-based home of ChatGPT's intelligent agents. In other words, World could become the financial infrastructure for AGI and superintelligence. It could be the bridge between humans and machines.
Worldcoin's user base is unlike that of other cryptocurrency projects. The eyeball scanning orb has yet to appear in the United States, so the initial 22 million users of the chain are distributed in other countries. Many users = people without bank accounts (exactly the kind of people OGs in cryptocurrency originally wanted to reach out to!).
You can think of World as its own human-centric internet. Perhaps the current web will be flooded with intelligent agents, but World could become a "carbon-based internet" designed specifically for humans.
We have entered the "Era of Indices." Technological progress brings more progress until the pace of change becomes bewildering. Rapid change means you will feel averse to change. In other words, on the path forward, everyone will regularly experience psychological discomfort.
Technology doesn't care if we can cope, and World's eye scan sphere is just one of these discomforting changes. Perhaps it makes you nauseous (makes you want to curl up), but over 10 million other people seem not to care. I imagine we will pay almost no attention to eye scans like we do now with facial recognition when unlocking our phones (that is to say, almost never pay attention).
World's Architecture
When you view statistics in the World app, they refer to their users as "humans." This reminds us of the uniqueness and powerful potential of this platform. Agents elsewhere are emerging and taking over social networks. Only Worldchain can differentiate between humans and AI. This has some cool real-time use cases, such as verifiable fair airdrops (meaning 1 "human" equals 1 regular airdrop).
Worldcoin is the first blockchain to solve the Sybil attack problem...this feature can be extended to other places on the internet (for example, you can now log into World's Discord group with your World ID...then your account will receive a special tag, verifying you are a "human").
(This disrupts the current standard where, in the absence of contrary information, we assume users are human. In a few years, we may assume users are AI until proven to be human).

The Rise of the Human-Centric Internet and World's "Mini Apps"
Of all the above content, what excites me the most is the mini apps. Once you install the World app on your phone, you can access the mini app store through your wallet. Then, you can download apps like arcade games, Meme apps, airdrop apps, social apps, and more.
Accessing and using mini apps does not require an eye scan sphere. Without the scan, you might have limited access to some features, but most features are usable. For example: some mini apps airdrop tokens to users who log in daily. All the mini apps I have seen only airdrop to those who have been scanned. However, once these tokens start circulating, anyone can trade them. (Actually, this makes sense...as it prevents airdrop abuse).
The Mini App was launched approximately three months ago and has already seen over 80 apps go live, with views surpassing 5.9 billion! Overall, users from 160 countries have interacted with at least one app.
Based on these statistics, you could say that World is currently the most successful ecosystem in the cryptocurrency space. The Mini App has achieved 2.3 million daily active users in less than three months! In comparison, the entire Solana blockchain has around 4.6 million daily active addresses (many of which are Sybil accounts).
Approximately half of the 20 million users who have downloaded the World app have already undergone an eye scan. Therefore, there are 10 million verified users in the ecosystem. This number is growing by over 80,000 daily.

Why Explore the Frontiers of Worldcoin
If World achieves its vision, WLD itself could become one of the most significant tokens in the industry... easily ranking in the top 3 coins. Currently, World has a market capitalization of 1.8 billion USD, while today's third-ranked blockchain XRP has a market cap of 153 billion USD, 85 times that of World.
However, the tokenomics of WLD are challenging to decipher... The demand for WLD must outpace the growth of the circulating supply to drive price increases (and as World attracts more users and UBI recipients, the supply will increase even faster). So what is needed is explosive growth in the use cases of WLD itself (i.e., providing liquidity in the pool, participating in farming staking, etc.). This is not impossible but not easy either.
If World is successful, the value will certainly not only accumulate on WLD... It will also accumulate on tokens issued on the Worldchain. That's why I am also focusing some investment energy on the altcoins within the World app.
Reasons to Be Excited About World-based Altcoins
I am very optimistic about World's Mini App... These are micro-apps within World's main 'wallet' app. Here, you can find content such as meme launch platforms, arcade games, social apps, decentralized finance (DeFi), and more. There are already over 80 apps, including interesting memes I have purchased like 'IRON SAM,' 'ORB,' 'MILEI,' and 'TRUMP.'

The World app is like an ATM that spits out money to users... If you prove yourself to be human by scanning your eyeball, then you are eligible for UBI (Universal Basic Income). This means that every month, you can log into the app and claim more WLD.
I haven't yet determined the specific amount of WLD UBI payments, but it seems to be around 5 or 6 WLD per month. While this may not sound like much if you live in the US or the EU, please remember that World's users are spread across over 160 countries worldwide (each with a different cost of living).
In addition to WLD UBI payments, World users can also download other apps that give out free tokens. Many other apps distribute tokens daily instead of monthly (such as ORB and ORO). This means users are incentivized to open the World app and its mini-apps daily to claim free money.
Users can choose to cash out these free tokens, or they can naturally lean towards what we degens tend to do: invest them in other opportunities that could potentially see their assets grow significantly. This is why I am very bullish on World's Meme... Users receive free WLD (along with possibly dozens of other altcoins) that they can use to invest in altcoins. This is similar to the "wealth effect" we've seen on other crypto chains (for example, many users who received a Jito airdrop sold the token to buy Meme on Solana).
World's distribution method is simply insane. Currently, the largest altcoin I've found on Worldchain, ORO, with 1.12 million on-chain holders, has surpassed BONK (879k holders)! Of course, the market value is much lower because the lifetime value of a Worldcoin user is currently much lower than that of a Solana user. Its user base is the average person... not a crypto whale. A groundbreaking app could change everything overnight.
Meme trading within the World app has only just begun less than a week ago. For example, the Poop app allows you to post and trade Memes. So far, over 1,000 coins have been launched. Interestingly, only those who have scanned their eyeballs can post coins, but anyone with the World app can trade them.
The mini-app ecosystem is still in its early stages, and the market value of these altcoins is ridiculously low... Some have a FDV (Fully Diluted Valuation) of around $500! Haha. In the Poop app, the largest altcoin has a market value of about $7,000! This means you don't need to invest a large amount of capital to get exposure (and you shouldn't). Buying a stake of over 5% of the token's supply for any is too aggressive and could stifle ecosystem growth. If you don't leave room for others, you'll end up lonely. Leave space, let the rising tide lift everyone together.
Get Started with "Pump.fun" in Worldchain

1. Visit world.org and click on "get world app" to download the app to your phone.
2. Set up your World ID without needing to scan your eyeball...this will create a Worldchain address for you within the app.
3. Send a small amount of WLD or USDC.e from OPTIMISM to your Worldcoin address. You can do this via Metamask or elsewhere. Alternatively, bridge ETH from the mainnet to Worldcoin through across.to, or bridge from Optimism through owlto.finance. If you plan to transact on the Poop app, it is recommended to use WLD. I've also heard that the Uniswap wallet serves as a good bridging tool (though I haven't tried it myself).
Once the funds are received, you can download some mini-apps within World to start token trading. Here are some of my favorite mini-apps:
·Poop (pooplaunch), which has seen hundreds of Meme launches every day in the past few days. They are about to hit over 1000 memes, including coins I'm bullish on like Sam (SAM), Iron Sam (SAMA), and Skynet (SKY).
·Uno (uno wallet), which hosts a decentralized exchange (DEX) for leading tokens like Orb (OBR), Oro (ORO), and CORAZON.
·Meme Factory, a meme app that has already listed 7 coins, including TRUMP, HUMAN, MILEI, and JESUS.
Epilogue
Worldchain feels like a parallel economic universe, hated by cryptocurrency OGs because of that eyeball scanning orb (although most of them have probably already scanned their faces or fingerprints on their phones and laptops).
Meanwhile, World is quietly becoming the largest ecosystem the industry has ever seen. As the orb expands to more cities, these numbers will grow even faster. The only question is, can Worldcoin make its mini-app ecosystem exciting enough? Or will people just log in to cash out their WLD and disappear? That is a trillion-dollar question.
Obviously, this article is not investment advice. Don't use your grandma's retirement fund to invest in these memes. You will likely lose 100% of your money.

(IV) Strengthening Local Implementation. The people's governments at the provincial level are overall responsible for the prevention and disposal of risks related to virtual currencies and the tokenization of real-world assets in their respective administrative regions. The specific leading department is the local financial regulatory department, with participation from branches and dispatched institutions of the State Council's financial regulatory department, telecommunications regulators, public security, market supervision, and other departments, in coordination with cyberspace departments, courts, and procuratorates, to improve the normalization of the work mechanism, effectively connect with the relevant work mechanisms of central departments, form a cooperative and coordinated working pattern between central and local governments, effectively prevent and properly handle risks related to virtual currencies and the tokenization of real-world assets, and maintain economic and financial order and social stability.

Market supervision departments, together with financial regulatory authorities, legally enhance the supervision of advertisements related to virtual currency and real-world asset tokenization, promptly investigating and handling relevant illegal advertisements.
(IX) Continued Rectification of Virtual Currency Mining Activities. The National Development and Reform Commission, together with relevant departments, strictly controls virtual currency mining activities, continuously promotes the rectification of virtual currency mining activities. The people's governments of various provinces take overall responsibility for the rectification of "mining" within their respective administrative regions. In accordance with the requirements of the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments in the "Notice on the Rectification of Virtual Currency Mining Activities" (NDRC Energy-saving Building [2021] No. 1283) and the provisions of the "Guidance Catalog for Industrial Structure Adjustment (2024 Edition)," a comprehensive review, investigation, and closure of existing virtual currency mining projects are conducted, new mining projects are strictly prohibited, and mining machine production enterprises are strictly prohibited from providing mining machine sales and other services within the country.
(X) Severe Crackdown on Related Illegal Financial Activities. Upon discovering clues to illegal financial activities related to virtual currency and the tokenization of real-world assets, local financial regulatory authorities, branches of the State Council's financial regulatory authorities, and other relevant departments promptly investigate, determine, and properly handle the issues in accordance with the law, and seriously hold the relevant entities and individuals legally responsible. By leveraging various industry infrastructure, conduct risk monitoring related to virtual currency, the tokenization of real-world assets, and promptly transfer issue clues to relevant departments.
(XIII) Without the approval of relevant departments in accordance with the law and regulations, domestic entities and foreign entities controlled by them may not issue virtual currency overseas.
(XIV) Domestic entities engaging directly or indirectly in overseas external debt-based tokenization of real-world assets, or conducting asset securitization activities abroad based on domestic ownership rights, income rights, etc. (hereinafter referred to as domestic equity), should be strictly regulated in accordance with the principles of "same business, same risk, same rules." The National Development and Reform Commission, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, and other relevant departments regulate it according to their respective responsibilities. For other forms of overseas real-world asset tokenization activities based on domestic equity by domestic entities, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, together with relevant departments, supervise according to their division of responsibilities. Without the consent and filing of relevant departments, no unit or individual may engage in the above-mentioned business.
(15) Overseas subsidiaries and branches of domestic financial institutions providing Real World Asset Tokenization-related services overseas shall do so legally and prudently. They shall have professional personnel and systems in place to effectively mitigate business risks, strictly implement customer onboarding, suitability management, anti-money laundering requirements, and incorporate them into the domestic financial institutions' compliance and risk management system. Intermediaries and information technology service providers offering Real World Asset Tokenization services abroad based on domestic equity or conducting Real World Asset Tokenization business in the form of overseas debt for domestic entities directly or indirectly venturing abroad must strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations. They should establish and improve relevant compliance and internal control systems in accordance with relevant normative requirements, strengthen business and risk control, and report the business developments to the relevant regulatory authorities for approval or filing.

(17) Widely carry out publicity and education. All departments, regions, and industry associations should make full use of various media and other communication channels to disseminate information through legal and policy interpretation, analysis of typical cases, and education on investment risks, etc. They should promote the illegality and harm of virtual currencies and Real World Asset Tokenization-related businesses and their manifestations, fully alert to potential risks and hidden dangers, and enhance public awareness and identification capabilities for risk prevention.
(18) Engaging in illegal financial activities related to virtual currencies and Real World Asset Tokenization in violation of this notice, as well as providing services for virtual currencies and Real World Asset Tokenization-related businesses, shall be punished in accordance with relevant regulations. If it constitutes a crime, criminal liability shall be pursued according to the law. For domestic entities and individuals who knowingly or should have known that overseas entities illegally provided virtual currency or Real World Asset Tokenization-related services to domestic entities and still assisted them, relevant responsibilities shall be pursued according to the law. If it constitutes a crime, criminal liability shall be pursued according to the law.
(19) If any unit or individual invests in virtual currencies, Real World Asset Tokens, and related financial products against public order and good customs, the relevant civil legal actions shall be invalid, and any resulting losses shall be borne by them. If there are suspicions of disrupting financial order and jeopardizing financial security, the relevant departments shall deal with them according to the law.
This notice shall enter into force upon the date of its issuance. The People's Bank of China and ten other departments' "Notice on Further Preventing and Dealing with the Risks of Virtual Currency Trading Speculation" (Yinfa [2021] No. 237) is hereby repealed.
